Dragon boat

My home team,the Wongs Dragon Boat Club Dragon Slayers has recently completed another exciting racing
season. Fun, fast and committed to training and racing hard, our crew has achieved most of its goals for 2005. Well done, team!
If you are thinking of trying our for dragon boat racing, the Wong Dragon Boat Club just may be what you
are looking for. Beware: it's a highly addictive sport, loads of fun and will get you in great shape. |

As member of the Canadian National Dragonboat Team,
I raced at the 2005 World Dragon Boat Racing Championships, held in Berlin, Germany August 3-7, 2005. Our crew won gold the 200 m sprint race beating China, Germany, USA and Russia in the finals. We also won a bronze medal in the 500 m event coming in ahead of Russia, Germany and USA. Over 20 countries participated at these World Championships. |
